Be An Angel Campaign

Objectives

This is an annual campaign organised by the Beautiful Gate Foundation For The Disabled to gather able-bodied and disabled people to

• Increase public's understanding towards the disabled and to embrace them with a caring society
• Provide systematic volunteer training on service and communicate with the disabled
• Raise awareness towards the needs, rights and potential of the disabled

How To "Be An Angel"?

You may choose to participate either one or both of the following events

• Be An Angel Training Camp
• Angels At Work

Be An Angel Training Camp

This is a three days two nights (3D2N) camp where participants can foster a greater understanding on the livelihood and the needs of the disabled community.

Participants will be able to :

• Learn how to communicate and work with the disabled
• Interact with the disabled through various activities and fun games

Camp Information

• Date : 04/05/2007 (Friday) - 06/05/2007 (Sunday)
• Venue : MBS Recreation and Training Centre, Kuang, Selangor
• Registration starts at 9:30am on 04/05/2007 (Friday)

** This camp is open for age 18 and above and will be conducted in Mandarin

Angels At Work

Upon completion of the training camp, participants may opt to contribute in a series of awareness campaign / promotion.
